CONEXUS Deliverable 6.1 Report: Localising the SDGs via NBS implementation in cities
January 2024
Led and authored by the EUKN within the Horizon 2020 project CONEXUS, this deliverable report explores the potential of nature-based solutions (NBS) in cities to localise global sustainability goals like the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Supported by seven case studies and city fiches, the report makes a case for linking local NBS indicators to the global framework of the SDGs, highlighting the multifunctionality of NBS to address challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, and inequality.
