Knowledge exchange for sustainable urban futures
From member-driven knowledge exchange to international urban research
The EUKN primarily organises tailored knowledge exchange activities for our members, including specific support throughout their Presidency of the Council of the European Union. These activities range from high-level inter-ministry meetings to interactive knowledge exchange sessions with stakeholders from various sectors and levels of governance.
We also collaborate on policy-orientated research with partners in international consortia; contributing our expertise in European urban policy and close links with national governments.
Urban transformation through shared insights
We strategically connect urban development experts, policy-makers and stakeholder institutions to harness the transformative power of cities. With a focus on implementing sustainable, inclusive urban policy within and beyond Europe, our collaborations include projects for the Urban Agenda for the EU, the New Urban Agenda and the UN Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development.
