Discussing the findings of the EUKN study ‘The New Leipzig Charter and the JRC’s Urban Activities’, this Policy Lab also reflected on the role of science for post-2020 policy.
The EUKN study investigated the ongoing role of the JRC, the Commission’s science and knowledge service, in supporting urban policy-making within the framework for sustainable urban development proposed by the New Leipzig Charter. More broadly, it identified gaps and opportunities within the wider EU urban science-policy interface.
