The preservation of cultural heritage is a core pillar in the practice of urban regeneration and is reflected in numerous policy frameworks and documents. Tangible and intangible cultural heritage is fundamental to the life and identity of communities and should be carefully considered within inclusive and holistic urban regeneration methods and activities.
